I cannot believe it but I actually sat down to the computer and was able to figure out how to install the software for my camera. I am really quite proud of myself.
Especially because me and computers DO NOT get along.

Here are the cakes and cupcakes that I have done over the last few months.

One of my all time favorite cakes.
This was a surprise cake for Lindsey. She loves to make cakes.
One of her favorite shows is the Cake Boss.
I had an absolute blast making it.

Cupcakes for my nephew Devin.
Oh how he loves football.

We go every year to the famous Dickerson Halloween Party.
This year we all had to make a cake for the cake walk.
This was my little Mummy.
I was so excited for my niece Jenna who won it.
She was pretty excited too.

This cake was for a INDIAN JONES Party.
It was a last minute cake.
I love the way it turned out.

I have to apologize for my lack of posting new pictures of my cakes. We recently (3 months ago) got a new PC. I being majorly un-savvy computer person cannot figure out to download the software for my camera. This was on the to do list for my hubby over fall break. Unfortunately we did not get to it. I promise to hopefully have new pictures to post.
Until then I will keep my facebook page updated.
If only I knew how to work a computer:)

This cake was for another Surprise Party!!
The cake was Chocolate with Oreo Buttercream frosting.
Chad loves to bike so naturally the famous yellow shirt was a must.

I had the opportunity to make a Red Velvet cake with Cream Cheese frosting
and Chocolate Chip Cookies for one the great young man. TY Abbott
Ty was one of Ryan's Basketball players back in the day.

Diana's Wedding Cake and Cupcakes

What a fun time I had making this wedding cake with cupcakes.
The top cake was Chocolate and Vanilla cake with Cream Cheese frosting.
I made 300 cupcakes.
Banana with Vanilla Buttercream
Vanilla with Chocolate Buttercream
Lemon with Vanilla Buttercream
I loved the colors together.
I was very happy the way it turned out.

Sea Shell Wedding Cake

This wedding cake was for a bride and groom who loved the beach.
The bottom layer was Vanilla cake with strawberries and vanilla frosting.
The middle layer was Chocolate cake with bananas and chocolate frosting.
The top layer was Carrot cake with vanilla buttercream.
The sea shells are all made out of white chocolate.
I had a great time giving each sea shell its own look with luster dust.

Lily's 4th Birthday Party

My little lady turned 4.
We have been planning this party for a year.
Lily said she wanted a HEART party so during Valentine's Day we stocked up.
I had so much fun putting it all together.
We had heart grilled cheese sandwiches, heart cheese with pretzels,
tarts and lots of heart candy.
I made vanilla cupcakes with vanilla frosting and colorful cut out fondant hearts.

I think the best part about doing cakes is being apart of such a special event.

This Crown is for a family friend. It is the topper of a
cake she made for her Mothers 80th birthday.
She made jewels to bling it out a bit too.
Lily wanted to get a picture with the Crown.
I also wanted to show off her new glasses.
Isn't she a cutie!!!

They wanted this specific cake for the shower.
I think she turned out pretty cute.
Both cakes are Vanilla.
One has strawberry filling and the other has
Oreo filling.

I was so excited when I got this order to do a cake for JESTER'Z Improv Comedy Club.
We love this place. We have been many times and always leave
with a sore belly and face from laughing.
They asked me to make a cake in celebration of there 10 Years.
What a great accomplishment.

They also asked me to make some sugar cookies for there VIP members.
I made 120 sugar cookies.
It was a long day.
Without the help of my dear friend Jarrica and my sweet Mother -in -law Debra,
I would of been in a lot of trouble.
But we did it.
I had to hand cut the purple Jester head 120 times.
So happy to do it.
Not to mention they tasted super Yummy!!

It was there last game of the season.
It was very special for me to do this cake.

Falle Cake for Gammy and Papa

This cake was for Gammy & Papa (Ryan's parents)
They just got home from serving an LDS mission in Samoa.
I was so excited to make a cake for there welcome home party.
I had so much fun. Most of all because Ryan helped me with the cake.
It has been so long since he and I did a cake together.
There are lots of things that we wanted to fit on the cake.
First of all the FALLE, that is what the Samoan people live in.
Second, the tombstone. Every village buries their elderly family members in the front of their Falles. We would bust up laughing because on ever tomb was either clothes or kids playing on it.
Next, the pig. Pigs were everywhere. Rooming the streets.
Lastly, small things like the snorkel and fins. just because that is all we did when we went to Samona,. The Rack and Machette, this is how they did there lawns.
That by the way always looked gorgeous. And we cannot forget the Palm tree with coconuts.
Oh how I loved the fresh coconuts.
The cake was Red Velvet with Cream cheese frosting.
Welcome home Gammy and Papa.
We love you both so much.

The last couple months have been crazy.

We had the opportunity to go to Samoa to visit my in-laws over Christmas.
We had a great time. We got home and tried to get life back to normal,
kids back to school, husband back to work and trying to get back on my regular schedule.
Not fun. I would much rather be back on a beach in Paradise.

I had the chance to make a cake for my adorable niece AVERY.
She is turned 1. This little lady is a hoot. She can do some of the cutest faces.
I am really lucky to have so many cute nieces and nephews.

Avery loved getting into the cake.

I was able to incorporate both.

I am completely obsessed with the fabric flowers. As I was laying in bed one night trying to fall asleep, I thought why couldn't I make a flower out of fondant to look like the fabric flowers.
Well here it is.
I absolutely love it.

I love thinking of something crazy in my head and being able to pull it off!

This was a cake for a first time Mommy. Erica's husband Mark came up with this whole design and concept. Bless his heart it was a surprise to Erica. After a lot of planning and being sneaky we pulled it off. They are having a little boy.
In his room on the wall is a life size Volcom stone painting. So Mark being the creator of this cake decided to make the cake the Volcom stone too.
I had a great time making this one. It even tasted fabulous.

My Nephew Devin loves Football. I mean LOVES IT!!! When his mom asked him what kind of party he wanted he said of course a football party. As he was telling hes mom all the things he wanted at the party in the middle was a fondant cake by my Aunt. Well here you go.

This cake was so much fun and very challenging to make at the same time. This was for the most beautiful Bride as a gift for her new Husband. He thought for sure he was going to get the New York Yankees Stadium for his groom cake. But Temple had other ideas. They have an inside joke about going to the Dark Side. So we decided to make Darth Vader and put the NY symbol on the Helmet to make him have a little of the NY style.

The Young Women in my ward asked if I would come and teach them how to make a fondant cakes. They all did so good. I was so proud of all of them. And we had a great time.

This was the cake I made as an example, very quickly:) I made it for one of the primary teachers who complained to me that he did not get a cake on his birthday. So I made him this adorable pink and purple cake. No more making me feel bad now Mark!!!

Foreign Language Department Birthday Cake

I was asked to do a cake for the Desert Vista Foreign Language Department to celebrate the birthdays. I have wanted to try out stenciling. This was a perfect opportunity. Very simple and classy. And yummy. I made Vanilla and Chocolate stacked cakes with chocolate buttercream filling, ganache and strawberries. My mouth waters just talking about it.

I got an order for a cute little man turning 1. Shannon his mother put on a great themed party of Dr. Seuss. It was a lot of fun making this cake. It was interesting being able to decorate it with black food coloring all over the cakes, like Dr. Seuss would do. Thank you Ryan for your help I would not have been able to do it without you. I saw the show Ace of Cakes not to long ago and after only one episode I was hooked! I really wanted to try making a cake of my own. One day, I was sitting at home with nothing to do and I told my husband, Ryan, I was going to make a cake. To my surprise, he was as excited as I was. We looked up some recipes and shazam, my first cake!

I quickly developed a talent and love for making fondant cakes. Below you can find some of my yummy creations. Slowly, I have been receiving more and more requests from family and others to make cakes, so along came "The Cake Bizzle." Fondant cakes can be pretty expensive so I thought I could offer people a great tasting and creative looking cake at a good price.
